When this Jensen CV-8 first arrived at Longmynd Service Station it was in need of; complete body strip down and repaint.

As always, we have completed the above restoration to a very high standard and we really don’t want to give the Jensen back to its loving owner!

Jensen Motors hand built a total of 499 CV8’s between 1962 and 1966, making the car a desirable find today.

The Jensen CV-8 has a distinctive design and plenty of character. Not to forget the stunning performance; the Chrysler 6.3 litre V8 engine which, by developing 330 bhp, allowed performance figures to reach 0-60mph in 6.6 seconds, (faster than both the Aston Martin DB6 and Jaguar E-Type) !

Wow – we can’t flaw it.

Ford Populars of the 1950s.

Back in the 1950′s, Ford Populars would pop up on every road in Britain, 155, 340 were made between; 1953 – 1959.

It was a very popular household car (excuse the pun!), however by the final year of production, the 103E Popular specification was looking seriously out of date, especially when compared to offerings from Vauxhall for example.

Today, the Ford 103E continues to be a sound choice for classic car and car restoration enthusiasts and appeals to a wide variety of people. Spares are still readily available and it can be a very leisurely car to drive (down a hill!).
