1934 Morgan F4 Restoration Project

Having been approached by National Geographic Channels 'Car SOS', we were given the task of restoring two cars as part of the third series of the popular television show.

The first car was this, a 1934 Morgan F4. The car arrived it a very rough state but we set about restoring the car as soon as it arrived as we only had 4 weeks to complete the project.

The car was completely stripped down and the prep work began.

New aluminium door skins were handmade by us and fitted to the original wooden door frame. We also fitted a new piece of Ash to the rear frame to keep the body strong and original.

The car was finished off in red as the children of the owner knew he'd like it that colour rather than the blue it was originally painted in.

The engine was sent away to be refurbished and the trimming was down over at Aldridge. Safe to say the owner was over-joyed with the finished result.
